We own and operate several high-volume travel companies and we are simply helping these hotels fill what would otherwise be empty rooms which the hotels & resorts turn into additional revenue from these consumers spending money on the property, such as room service, spa, in-house restaurants, bar purchases, casino and extra day stay, etc.
In addition, we will offer them additional incentives and upgrades that your client can choose to accept or decline such as additional nights upgrade room types etc. These will be optional upgrades. Most upgrades and add ons are simple options such as larger room type bed configurations etc. attraction tickets and more. You (Client), however, will NEVER be required to upgrade.

Do Vacation Incentives have an expiration date?
Yes, our digital incentives created will be assigned an expiration date 7 days out from the date you receive it. Please note that the expiration date shown on the digital incentives only pertains to the actual activation of the incentive. After customers activate a vacation incentive, they will have up to 18 months to travel.
To activate Vacation Incentive the guest simply needs to pay the daily taxes and or fees that correspond to the incentive online. Once the vacation has been completed then VIP Plus+ Travel will reimburse you for the cost of those taxes and/ or fees. Currently, the activation must be paid in $US dollars, we will offer this in other currencies as soon as possible.
Do customers need to book their reservations and travel by the expiration date printed on the incentive voucher?
No, the expiration date pertains to activation of the vacation incentive only. Once your customer activates by paying the taxes and/or fees of a vacation incentive they will then have at least 18 months to travel.
For example, for our US resorts the activation fee runs from $19.45 per night to about $33.60 on average per night, and our Mexico offers $19.70 per night. This fee is subject to change and varies by destination.

Customers may activate an incentive online by paying the resort taxes and / or fees per night. Once they activate within 7 days of receiving the digital incentive your customer will have 18 months to travel.
The end-user will get email receipt and links to redeemvacations.com to search for dates and be able to choose from participating hotels for desired dates based on availability. The process is all online. A VIP Plus+ Travel Agent will be available to step you through the process or do it for you at no additional charge.

How many incentives can a customer activate?
Customers can activate a Complimentary Hotel Stay incentive once a year maximum.
This means customers can take advantage of one vacation incentive once every twelve months from previous travel.
Also, they cannot redeem the same destination or specific hotel or hotel chain more than once.
These incentives are meant to be used to generate NEW business or NEW prospects, not for your personal use as a VIP Plus+ Travel Sponsor for each new destination or to simply be giving vacations to the same people or friends and family or staff, etc. This is meant to be a tool to generate new Prospects or Customers for each of you. Not for personal use to each destination. We encourage all new VIP Plus+ Travel Agents to try us out and use one of the vacation incentives to see how the program works.
Can a customer sell their vacation incentives?
No. You may not. You can give them away but reselling or bartering the incentives will cause us to void the incentive. This will violate our terms, conditions, and agreements you accept before using our incentives. The agreements we maintain with our hotel and resort companies prevent us from competing against or jeopardizing their published rack rate. If you were able to sell these incentives, there would be no way to prevent a member from selling our incentives directly to the end-user, thereby creating competition and lowering our partner properties' published rates. So, they cannot be sold or bartered for cash, goods or services in any way.
Do customers get to choose their hotel?
Great Questions, we are glad you asked as this is one of the benefits that set us apart. Although we may promote specific properties with each incentive destination. Each of our destinations may have as many as 50 participating hotels, based on the dates selected we will showcase up to 3 different Hotels & Resorts for you to choose from based on availability.
For example, currently, we are featuring the Mayan Palace resorts in Mexico However, If the property we promote is not availed based on availability we may be able to give the user other great choices they can pick from.
Keep in mind that these are promotional offers to fill what would otherwise be an empty hotel room.
Customers will be able to choose the hotel from our featured list.
The properties that participate in these promotional offers release the unoccupied inventory to us just 30 days ahead of time thus it requires the end user to give us a minimum of 30 days advance notice to book dates which will provide customers with significant savings on their travel. We also recommend customers choose weekdays vs weekends and avoid major holidays for best hotel options and availability.
This should be promoted as a “Couples Getaway” the majority of the room types available with this incentive are for a maximum of 2 adults at least 1 occupant must be over the age of 21.
The incentive is designed for couples up to 2 adults or singles in a room, some properties however may allow for up to 2 additional children up to the age of 12 in the same room based on room type, and bed configurations. When adding children to your search you are likely to see fewer hotel choices.
Do customers get to choose their destination?
Yes, and No depending on how you use the platform. If you set up a website with our API integration you can allow your customer to select a destination. We find however that too many choices means they end up selecting none. We recommend you do your promotions based on a preselected destination you chose and send from our back office portal. Once you or your client has selected a destination and activated it then it is no longer changeable except under acts of God or Force majeure.
Can customers book before the required 30-Day Advance Notice on the travel incentives?
With the Hotel Savings cards, guest can book a hotel with savings at the last minute, as a matter of fact, even same day bookings are available.
The complimentary vacation incentives do not work for last-minute bookings.
Customers must book with a minimum of 30 days advance notice prior to preferred or selected check-in dates. So as long as the guest is booking more than 30 days out we can fulfill based on the availability of course.
The properties that we work with release their unoccupied inventory to us daily with 30 days out, so there is no way around this.
Remember, we are filling otherwise empty rooms for the participating properties, and this is the time frame that they use to project what their occupancy will be. Based on what their projection is will determine how many allotments they can provide to us for these promotions.
What are the taxes and / or fees, and what are they based on for the travel incentive?
The taxes and fees are based on a few factors, examples include but are not limited to local tourism and bed taxes, value-added tax, sales tax based on the full rack rate of the accommodations, maid service fees, zone surcharges, travel agency fees, federal, state, local, or municipal taxes, etc. most average only about $30 US per night.
Can customers travel with children?
The short answer is YES, however we promote this as a” Couples Getaway” the incentive is designed for couples or singles with up to 2 adults in a room, some properties however may allow for up to 2 additional children up to the age of 12 in the same room based on room type, and bed configurations.
Cities like Orlando, Las Vegas and the properties in Mexico are the best options for a getaway for 2 adults and up to 2 children under the age of 12.
When adding children to your search you are likely to see fewer hotel choices.
Most hotels accommodate 2 persons and upgrades for additional persons over 2 may be required based on the hotel of choice. If traveling with extra adults or children upgrades may be available to accommodate a larger party.
The upgrades require the purchase of additional rooms or larger suites. Prices for upgrade options and or additional children etc. depend on room availability and seasonality so prices cannot be quoted until travel dates are selected.
All upgrade options will be online where the end user can select the option to upgrade or continue to search for other participating properties. These promotional incentives are designed for couples or small families. More than 2 persons will be harder to accommodate with these promotions and in many cases not possible.
ONLY one incentive will be honored per household or friends & relatives traveling together.
We recommend promoting these as a Couples getaway for a better user experience.
Remember Group travel or combining these incentives to travel with friends and family is not allowed there are extra costs for additional rooms or room nights.
Trying to circumvent this can end up with all of the reservations being canceled or required to pay full rack rate at check in.
Can customers cancel their reservation and get their money back?
This incentive activation is FINAL & NON-REFUNDABLE, end users will have 18 months to travel. Once dates are confirmed with the incentive no changes will be allowed. Cancellations after dates are confirmed will result in forfeiture of the activation fees.
(The inventory used for these rooms are not as flexible as booking at retail rates, once confirmed changes will not be allowed and cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of fees paid)
Do customers need to be a certain age and have a credit card to use incentive?
With these promotional offers, the resorts are hoping customers will make up for the loss in room revenue with spending on the property at the restaurants, spa, casino, etc.
For this reason and others, they are requiring that at least 1 person in the party be over the age of 21 for all the resorts, and a passport to travel if overseas, they must also have a Major credit or a bank debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo plus a valid government-issued ID to check-in. (In other words, they must not be cash customers with no recourse for damage to rooms, etc.) incentive users must also reside at least 100 miles or 160 kilometers away from the participating resort.
So, for example, a resident of Orlando cannot use the Orlando stay but instead could use the Las Vegas hotel stay.

There are NO timeshare presentations required to use this vacation incentive or any other hoops you will need to jump to redeem. Simply activate online by prepaying the hotel taxes and fees associated with the destination. After activation, login online and search for your preferred participating resort/hotel and preferred travel dates.

The expiration date on this incentive pertains only to the redemption or activation of this incentive and not actual travel. You must activate this incentive within 7 days of receiving it. The incentive is valid for a reservation request offering Resort/Hotel Accommodations in your choice of destinations provided by redeemvacations.com Your cost to activate and redeem this incentive and book the reservation includes our recovery fees, local government taxes, and tourism fees which vary by destination. The recipient of this incentive will receive luxury hotel accommodation room rate free of charge, which retail is valued at up to $350 US per night, however recipient is responsible for all other expenses including but not limited to: airfare, transfers, food & beverages, gratuities, resort fees if applicable and any other personal or miscellaneous expenses. (Resort fees are now commonplace in hotels around the world however not always applicable. For example in Orlando FL they run from $5.00 to $13.00 per night, In Las Vegas resort fees run from $16.00 to $38 per night Paid directly to the resort.
